I started working on this comic in November of 2021, before stopping to take a break throughout the month of Christmas to spend time with my family. I really had fun making this comic. The idea that Coco loves Goldfish crackers so much that she would have dreams that caused her to sleepwalk was an idea that I just found hilarious. This is also a very special comic to me, because I made a promise with myself that once I finished this comic I would start working on the very first comic book that I would actually work to get published.

I made this comic after I graduated College. I felt a little burnt out from College, so I mostly just worked on this comic on the side, as a way to help me get back in the swing of things when I was ready to dive back into the full process of drawing comics full time. The characters in this comic were actually characters I created in college. I liked them so much that I wanted to do more with them. I also wanted to be a little more experimental with this comic by having the characters I drew in backgrounds that I took photo's of. So glad I live near a grocery store for easy access.

There was a unit in college where we learned about Democratic and Undemocratic comic pages. the final project of the unit was for us to tell a complete story through one comic page. one story would have to be Democratic, and the one had to be undemocratic. With the two comics I did, I thought it would be cool if they were two separate stories that took place involving the same characters at different points in their lives. I really liked how the comics turned out, and luckily for me my teacher liked the way it looked as well.
